Psychotherapist
Further training in infant, child and adolescent psychotherapy

I offer individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Psychotherapeutic work with children and adolescents (Individual Psychology) should be seen as an encouraging and supportive process in the personality development of the child/adolescent.

Strengthening the personality, encouraging the child to develop greater self-worth, and the possibility of becoming more resilient are key aspects of this process. Creating a ‘safe and trusting environment’ is a cornerstone of my approach. Children and adolescents should feel secure and “safe.” Depending on the age, playful and creative activities are emphasized, while for adolescents, conversations are naturally more central.

Psychotherapy appointments are often not immediately available, as many patients stay in therapy for several years. Before starting psychotherapy, there is a diagnostic process involving getting to know each other and a mutual decision with the child/adolescent, the parents, or the appropriate responsible parties, and the therapist to begin therapy and set possible goals.

Psychotherapy for adults is also offered as part of my therapeutic practice.
